New York – The American Forest and Paper Association (AF&PA) announced that a record-high 63.4 percent of paper consumed in the U.S. was recovered for recycling 2009.  This is good news for the industry and the environment, and exceeds the industry’s 60 percent recovery goal three years ahead of schedule.  Innovative paper recycling programs winners of the AF&PA Recycling Award program were also announced.  For the full article, go to paperrecycles.org
