Position:             REGIONAL SALES REPRESENTATIVES
                            

Where:                West Coast Sales Areas:
                                 Arizona, California, Oregon and Washington

Duties and Responsibilities include the following:   

     - Develops new business by prospecting from target lists.
     - Screens potential prospects to develop new customers.
     - Serves present customers to develop new business.
     - Plans with the customer and develops concise specifications for quoting of print  
       projects.
     - Begins the processing of an order with Customer Care Representative and
       follows up with Customer Care Representative regarding the status of jobs in the
       manufacturing process.
     - Follows up with customers after delivery of jobs.
     - Proactively communicates with customers concerning all aspects of customer
       orders.
     - Develops and maintains effective customer communications by managing the  
       customer’s expectations through use of negotiation, persuasion, diplomacy and  
       clear communication, ensuring customer satisfaction and improvement in
       customer retention.
     - Works effectively with individuals at all levels of the company concerning all
       aspects of customer orders.
     - Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.

Requirements:

     - Results oriented self-starter with demonstrated prospecting and closing skills. 
     - Knowledge of book production, paper grades, and bindery operations are
       required.
     - Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience preferred.
     - 5+ years demonstrated ability to meet sales and profitability goals.
     - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
     - Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
     - Highly organized and detail oriented.
     - Skilled at Windows Outlook, order entry software programs, and PDA’s.
     - Canidates must possess a valid driver’s license and the availability to travel.

DIGITAL BOOKMAKING SUPERVISOR

Job Location:  Elizabethton, Tennessee

Duties and Responsibilities include the following:  

  •  Manages workflow of the automated digital book-making equipment and provide same day turn-around in book-making.
  • Proactively communicates with customers concerning all aspects of customer orders.
  • Works effectively with individuals at all levels of the company concerning all aspects of customer orders.
  • Adjusts complaints concerning billing or service rendered to customers. 
  • Ensure that quality standards and production goals are met, with focus on continuous improvement.
  • Oversees standard maintenance and enforces safety and housekeeping standards.
  • Works effectively with printing industry suppliers.
  • Monitors and negotiates vendor pricing and performance.
  • Prepares reports for senior management on raw material inventories and purchased materials as requested.
  • Prepares purchase orders and approves invoices for payment. 
  • Discusses defective or unacceptable goods or services with users, vendors, and others to determine source of trouble and take corrective action to include refunds for inferior product and services.
  • Performs duties consistent with the company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.
  • Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager. 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years experience in bindery/purchasing field.
  • Knowledge of graphic arts, book production, paper grades, and bindery operations is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Highly organized and detail conscious. 
  • Proficient with personal computers, Excel and Word.      
  • Must be self-motivated, and disciplined to meet expected quality and production standards.
